At Searchlify, we believe your data is yours alone. Our entire application is engineered from the ground up to operate completely offline. We designed Searchlify to provide powerful AI search capabilities entirely locally, meaning you never have to choose between advanced features and your privacy.

2. Zero Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any user data. Specifically:

• No Telemetry: We do not track how you use the application.
• No Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics services.
• No Cloud Sync: Your files, search index, and settings are never synced to any cloud server.
• No External Processing: All OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and AI semantic understanding processes run exclusively on your device.

3. Local Processing & Indexing

When you use Searchlify, all file indexing, text extraction, and query processing occur locally on your Mac's hardware. The application utilizes Apple's native frameworks and on-device machine learning models. Your files never leave your computer, and the index database is stored securely in your local user directory.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not integrate with any third-party tracking, advertising, or data collection services. The only external connection made by the app is securely communicating with Apple's servers for the purpose of validating App Store receipts and processing In-App Purchases, which is strictly governed by Apple's own privacy policies.
